This is hand down the best Aquamarine I have ever seen in the small size needed to make this band. The color is known as Santa Maria, after the Brazilian mine where this shade of aquamarine was first found. There are now other mines which produce this color now, so I can't tell you it is directly from that mine, but this is as good as it gets for this size of aquamarine. The cutting is also exceptional giving great sparkle.
